Laura English joined LIBERTY as Chief Financial Officer in 2024, bringing more than 25 years of experience in healthcare finance and more than 15 years in Chief Financial Officer roles. She is responsible for LIBERTY’s enterprise-wide finance teams, including financial planning, accounting, underwriting, analytics and actuarial services, and for aligning the finance function with overall corporate strategy, long-range financial planning, and execution on operational and strategic goals.

Laura has worked with several health plans in both payer and provider environments. Recently, she worked as Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, specializing in serving distressed managed care organizations and health plans through financial and operational transformations.

Laura holds an MBA from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has also attended healthcare executive programs at Harvard Business School in Boston and at the Fisher College of Business in Columbus, Ohio.
