The 21st Century Cures Act requires all Medicaid Managed Care Organization (MCO) Network providers to enroll with the Medicaid Program prior to enrolling with any MCO. Enrollment in Nevada Medicaid Fee-for-Service (FFS) does not require providers to accept Medicaid FFS recipients.
All providers must be enrolled in FFS and any MCO with the same NPI type and number. Any MCO network provider not enrolled in FFS, or enrolled in any MCO with an NPI type and number different from FFS, will be terminated from the MCO.
The Nevada Medicaid provider enrollment process ensures appropriate and consistent screening of providers and safeguards program integrity. In order to enroll with Nevada Medicaid, you will need to submit the application online at Online Provider Enrollment. Here, you will also find a Provider Enrollment Information Booklet to guide you through the process. If you are a Nevada Medicaid provider and wish to continue enrollment with any MCO, you may verify your revalidation date through the following link: Provider Revalidation Report. Please note, you can submit your completed revalidation application one year in advance.
If you have any questions about enrollment, please call Nevada Medicaid at (877) 638-3472. When calling, select the prompts for “Nevada Medicaid Provider,” then 0 for all other calls, and then 5 for “Provider Enrollment.”
